Jagua Gel Cones

Jagua gel cones are 100% natural, made fresh to order. Jagua is derived from the Jagua fruit, the fruits of the Genipa americana tree. It produces a dark, navy-blue stain on the skin which naturally fades over the course of two weeks. The Jagua gel is very potent, and it stains quickly and easily. Jagua gel cones are 15 grams each, and come with an open tip of 0.38mm and a pin inserted. Scents/essential oils are customizable. Please freeze your Jagua gel cones as soon as you receive your order.

Organic Jagua juice, organic cane sugar, xanthan gum, essential oils

STORAGE

This natural Jagua gel product has no preservatives, which makes it a perishable product. It has a shelf life of about two weeks or less at room temperature. To make sure your Jagua gel cones last longer, store your them in the freezer. When frozen, Jagua gel can last over 6 months and still produce a dark stain. When you’re ready to use it again, just let it thaw for about 10-15 minutes. Try not to freeze and thaw more than 3-4 times.

AFTERCARE AND STAIN

Practicing proper aftercare is arguably the most important step in achieving a deep, dark stain. After applying the Jagua gel, keep it on the skin for at least 3 hours. Avoid contact with the gel as it dries. Any smudges or transfers WILL stain. Remove Jagua gel by washing thoroughly with soap and warm water. Your stain should initially be invisible or a pale gray color. Don’t fret! It will oxidize and darken over the next 48 hours. Try to avoid sunlight and hot water for the next 12-24 hours. Remember, no two stains are equal, and different parts of your arm or body will stain differently. Enjoy!

Orders are shipped out on Mondays or Tuesdays. Order by Saturday 11:59 PM to make the following shipment date. All Jagua gel orders are shipped out via USPS Priority Mail (1-3 days) unless upgraded to USPS Priority Express (1-2 days). Free shipping is available for orders $50+.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Jagua gel cone orders cannot be returned or refunded due to its perishable nature. Poor stain is usually a result of poor storage or aftercare. If you receive your packages damaged or late (1 week from ship date), reach out via email or Instagram. Replacements can be provided on a case by case basis.

Jagua gel is 100% natural but allergic reactions are possible. If you have sensitive skin, are sensitive to essential oils, or if you are concerned about a reaction, perform a patch test on the inside of the wrist 24 hours prior to applying. Avoid Jagua gel if you have extremely sensitive skin, a G6PD deficiency, are extremely anemic, or have tropical fruit allergies.
